Small Businesses are the backbone of the UK economy. There are 5.4m small businesses in the UK, they employ 15.6m of the UK workforce and their combined annual turnover is £1.8 trillion. However, many small businesses are not yet making the most of the opportunities open to them by the internet.


From Government there is a push to support Digital Transformation through the LEPS and Growth Hubs while further digitisation of the integration of government with Small business includes HMRC to make business Tax Digital from 2018.
